Ranbir and Alia could not reach the temple due to the protest. However, amidst heavy protests, film director Ayan Mukerji and the production team visited the sanctum sanctorum of the temple. Ranbir and Alia had to return to Indore due to security.

In fact, as soon as the Hindu organizations came to know about Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt’s arrival at the Mahakal temple at 7 pm on Tuesday, they became alert. From 4 pm onwards, the Vishwa Hindu Parishad and Bajrang Dal workers started gathering around the VIP entrance, before the time of the actors’ arrival outside the temple. The police did not even know about it. As soon as the production team and the officers’ vehicle reached the entrance on time, the workers of the Hindu organization started shouting slogans. Showed black flags and demonstrated. When the police wanted to stop the protesters, the Bajrang Dal workers and office bearers had a fierce argument with the police. The police drove the workers from there. The whole incident was caught on camera. However, the film’s production team and Ayan Mukerji director took darshan of Baba Mahakal in the sanctum sanctorum of the temple and discussed it with the media.

Ayan, who reached the temple, told that he had a great desire to visit Baba Mahakal before the release of the film and he is very happy to see him today. He has prayed to God for the success of the film. Also he told that Ranbir Kapoor’s trainer Dhipesh Bhatt who is known as Shivohm is also with us and is a member of the team. The sightings have been done very well. Ayan kept silence on the question of protest.
